Hamilton Beach 6-cup brew station coffee maker?

ok so i have broken my coffee pot, and i am wanting one that has the digital timer on it and all that. Well i am also wanting one that is a bit of a space saver. This one LOOKS like something i would want (not in this color though id prefer grey or white). But it really honestly doesnt have that much info on the page and the only person to comment about it is she only liked it bc her daughter liked the color for her dorm and hasnt tried it yet.
so does this thing take regular coffee filters and you just fill it w/ coffee ur coffee grounds? or do you have to get those special little single serving containters that you put in? Do you have this and does it work well.
My husband and i are the only ones who will be useing it and he drinks coffee normally at work.

Hamilton Beach Brew Station Plus? Unplug it?

I just bought a Hamilton Beach Brewstation Plus coffeemaker. The instructions say to unplug it after every use. So I understand it uses less electricity that way but that also means I have to reprogram it every time I plug it back in.
Why would I have to unplug it all the time? Can I just leave it plugged in or am i going to burn my house down or something?
If you don’t unplug it (and who does?) and it happens to burn your house down, Hamilton Beach’s lawyers will likely claim that you failed to follow the instructions and that your house wouldn’t have burned down if you’d unplugged it all the time. It’s cheaper to add a sentence to the instruction booklet that consumers are unlikely to comply with (if they even bother to read the instruction booklet) than to pay for rebuilding consumers’ houses.
